Concepts to Ponder

Government is a coercive monopoly. Once started it cannot be stopped. Why is it that all products and services are better produced with the free enterprise system, where there is competition and freedom of choice and pleasing of customers? But when it comes to the service of protection, we jump to a government system where force is used in place of free enterprise, where there can be no competition and no feedback of profit and loss for the services rendered.

Mostly, people take care of what they own. If everything is owned, everything would be taken care of.

You need no more law than this: No man or group of men may attempt to deprive a man of a value by the initiation of physical force, the threat of force, or any substitute for force (such as fraud).

If everyone had a known reputation (such as the feedback rating on eBay), and all business was done by contract, jails, as we know them, would be unnecessary.

If a man makes a 100 choices in a day and he chooses without interference, he will choose what he thinks is best for him. Since man isn't perfect, all his choices will not be correct. Good choices add to man's life and bad choices take away from man's life. The instinct to survive motivates man to make the best choices. Therefore, man is basically good, but not perfect.

If you want more of something, you subsidize it. If you want less of something, you tax it.

Quality and Price are the 2 decisions in every purchase. Quality being everything about the item and the price is everything you must give up to get the item.

Government enforcement agencies cause more crime than they prevent.

If you steal, you are poisoned and so is your fruit.
